Eeee! I went shopping today and had my hair done. I’m one hot bitch right now, y’all!
I found the cutest top at Macy’s. It’s from DKNY and it has faux leather on the trim. So cute! Ooh! I found a picture....! Cute isn’t it? It’s a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll. 
Just like me! I did find another top at Macy’s but I couldn’t find a photo of it. :(
I also found a cute top at Bebe but the boobs were too small in it. heh
Ooh ooh! I bought some new skimmers at Hot Topic...and ‘member how I liked my little Kuromi notepad I bought at the Sanrio store? Welllllllllllllllllllllllll, they had Kuromi mary jane skimmers! AND Hello Kitty ones!!!!!!! (I only bought the Kuromi ones. teehee) I may have accidentally gone to the Sanrio store, too.
And I bought myself some new perfume from Emporio Armani called Diamonds. Oh la la. It smells sooo good! Flowery and girly and stuff. 
I did get my hair colored, highlighted and cut. So cute. I’ll have to share a photo soon. 
We also had a hockey game that we attended tonight. They lost. To Dallas. Ugh. What crrrrrrrrap. Anyway, I don’t know how it happens but we ALWAYS get seated around jackasses. Tonight was no exception. There were three tweenage girls behind us who screamed and cheered and were generally freaking annoying the entire time. They obviously had no idea about hockey whatsoever...why their parents would waste money on taking them to a play-off game is beyond me. Everyone ignored them as best they could but they were intent on being AS OBNOXIOUS AS THEY COULD POSSIBLY BE the entire time. Tonight I am here supporting retroactive abortions. God what a miserable game.
What else was I going to say? OH OH! HAAAAAAAAA! Okay so every month that the store where I work is accident-free, everyone’s name is put into a drawing. Well, my name was chosen. And I won a ham. A HAM, y’all. I won a freaking ham. I nearly d-i-e-d laughing. WTF am I going to do with a ham? Anyway, I thought it was funny.

a properly fitting pair of trousers. I recently bought two pair to wear to work. In two sizes smaller than my others. Of course I didn’t try them on at the store, that would be just weird. So I get them home, they are BOTH the same size....and one pair fits okay but the legs are short, the others I can wear with someone else. Okay, firstly, I am not in the least bit tall or long-legged. I’ve got short legs, I’m only 5’5” but the one pair? Are flooding. The others...I don’t know how they are so disproportionate. The length of the legs are fine. The waist is a little loose but okay. But the thighs and hips part are HUGE. I feel like if I stood out in the wind that I’d billow like a freakin’ flag. Ugh. I guess I’m going to have to go to the store and try them on next time. Oh did I mention they were both the same brand? Yeah coz they are/were. I’m so annoyed at finding clothing!
And it is cold here. Okay, okay so it isn’t cold by NORMAL people’s reckoning..but by my accounts, it is cold. I had to turn the heat on today! Even the furchildren were cold. Dixie was snuggled up on me on the sofa on a warm, fuzzy blankie and Teddy and Buddy curled up with one another on the rug in the sunlight by the back door. It has to be cold if these two are snuggling with one another. Teddy doesn’t like Buddy much because Buddy chases him. Dixie and Teddy snuggle up with one another all the time. And since it was so unusual for these two to be so close together, I had to snap some photographs. (And then I broke my camera. Nice. It still works just fine but the little door where the memory card is had a little piece of plastic break off. I don’t know what the plastic was supposed to do but it was there and then it wasn’t.)

Other than that, I’m looking forward to having a 3-day weekend starting tomorrow! Yaaaaaaaaay!
Here I am. I found me. I was getting worried that I was lost, but I found myself.
Anyway, I’ve been playing my Guitar Hero on my Wii and uhm, American Idol Karaoke. I’m totally a superstar. heh Doug also upgraded the memory in my laptop so that I could actually run programs and it not seem like I poured cold syrup in my computer when opening Photoshop. Which meaaaaaaaaaaaans also that I can play The Sims on my laptop now. Woo hoooooo!
Work is going well. I mean, I’m actually enjoying it. I try to keep busy which helps the mindless hours pass more quickly. One of the girls is out on maternity leave so my hours have upped a bit while she’s out. I don’t expect I’ll be working nearly 40 hours much but we’ll keep an eye on it. Y’all know I love my free time!
And so last night, I slept in one of the guest beds because Doug was snoring to wake the dead and I took the dogs in to sleep with me. Dixie takes up a bit of room at first on the bed, then she curls up in a little puppy ball and sleeps right by my head. But Buddy. My gosh. Buddy takes up 2/3 of the bed. He’s just a 35lb beagle mix so I don’t know how he does it! He also likes to sleep AScloseTOmeASpossible. Like when he lays down and we go to sleep, I fully expect to have an indentation in my side and leg where he lays and presses up against me. I drew a representation:
It features one of my least favorite sounds ever. Whistling. Oh how I hate whistling. This song plays along with my other least favorite idiotic song on Muzak. Seriously, who picks the songs to go on these? Makes me stabba stabba stabby.

I put $40 of gasoline into my car today. It was nearlyempty. The line on my gauge after I put in the $40 read a little more than 1/2 tank. OMFG are you KIDDING ME? This means that it would cost about $75 to FILL MY CAR FROM EMPTY. That is absolutely ridiculous. Luckily, I don’t drive my car very much. I work less than a mile from home (and yes, I could walk but I would be walking uphill after being on my feet for 8 hours and that would make me entirely too bitchy) and I don’t even go shopping much anymore because well, I just will order online or wait until I have a list before I make the trek to the shops.
I can’t believe it. I mean, I knew the price of fuel had risen in price but damn, gimme a break. All the while the asshole petrol companies are making “record profits” and boasting about how many BILLIONS of dollars that they’ve made. I hope all those assholes rot in the fiery pits of hell for all of eternity.
We watched the price of gasoline go up twenty cents in one day. ONE DAY. Now, you cannot tell me that they aren’t just randomly choosing the price. They’re going to keep fucking around until the government starts regulating it. And we all know that as soon as the government gets their greedy, sticky paws into something, they fuck it up royally.
Like taxes.
It is Tax Day today. We’ve already filed ours and since I didn’t work but 2 months last year, we qualified for a refund! Which was promptly deposited into our checking account the same day that the debit for the supplemental tax bill was taken. I love how that works, don’t you? I think we came out about $70 ahead. Anyone else wish that we just had to pay a consumption tax besides me? I make money, I buy things, I’m taxed for the things I buy. If I don’t buy things, I’m not taxed. Isn’t that how is should be done? I mean, simply speaking, obviously the government will fuck with it and make it a bunch of horseshit, but seriously. The wealthy people buy more expensive things and are taxed more, the poorer people buy less expensive things and are taxed less. Everyone pays the same tax amount based on their consumption. We, of course, would probably be fuh-hucked because I like to buy things but I’m not buying $100,000 cars so....tht tht tht...yeah.
And why are teachers salaries taxed by the state? I mean, they’re PAID by the state, so why are they re-taxed? A bit of money laundering on the part of the state? I think...uh...yes. Same with taxes that are paid on social security benefits. Money from the government that is being taxed by the government? What is THAT? Hmmm?
Sorry for the rambling post. I have to work 6 days this week and I’m a bit peeved over it and I’m still pissy about the gasoline price AND taxes.
