I'm currently a housewife living in the San Francisco bay area. I say currently because I do work, just not right now. I'm 35 and I'm married to Doug. We own our own home here and are looking toward retirement in about 10 years whereupon we will move to Kentucky and live outside of the People's Republik of Kalifornia while drawing his pension from California. :D Doug and I love to travel and do so whenever we can.

We have two cats--Teddy Cheddy, a nearly 20 lb. cat who is not really fat, but just big. Teddy thinks that he's a dog because he fetches and barks at things in the yard. Teddy Cheddy BIG PINK PUFFY HEARTS his mommy and I BIG PINK PUFFY HEART Teddy Cheddy. And Heidi who living with her is like living with an angsty teenager. She doesn't like anyone or anything anywhere for any reason. She lives to bitch about something because her life is sooooo hard laying around all day in a sunny window being fed the best cat food and having a fountain from which to drink. The kitties have three...yes, three...cat towers from which they can laze for hours on end. The even have their own television and DVD player that plays a "Mewvie" of squirrels and chinchillas and birds hopping around the television screen. You could say they are slightly spoiled.

We also have Buddy the Beagle. Buddy came to us from Taiwan, China as a rescue. I still don't know why they are rescuing dogs from China, but I suppose maybe because they don't want them to become lunch. Anyway, Buddy is currently in queue to attend obedience training and perhaps agility school. He is such a cute little guy.

I grew up in a normal family with normal (well almost normal) parents and siblings. We're all pretty successful in our own rights. My brother is an engineer and my sister married well. LOL My mom once said that Todd (my brother) would make his money from his hands, that I will make my money from my mind, and that Sarah (my sister) would marry well. And you know what? That is exactly how it has happened.

I'm a pretty nerdy person. I embrace my nerdiness fully. I may seem bitchy, but really, I'm a fair flower of the south, a delicate petal.

On to the 200 things about me. Wow, what a long-ass list. I wasn't even done. Grab a cuppa and "enjoy" the read. LOL
