Friday she had her spay surgery.  They cut her widdle bewwy open like a trout and made it so she’ll not get womanly troubles.

So we picked her up today.  She was SO excited to see us.  Poor thing!  The veterinary nurse said that about 10 minutes before we came, she started getting antsy so she knew we were coming to get her.  Poor widdle angewl.  They gave me her pain meds and put one of those mean collars on her so she can’t get to her incision site.  She had an accident in the car on the way home.  She was horrified about it.  But otherwise, she seems drugged but okay.

Boy was she glad to be home.  She was glad to get in her crate.  She was glad to be able to sit on mommy’s lap.  She was glad to get on her sofa!

I went to the store and bought her some of her chewy sticks that she likes (the pig ones, not the bull penis ones) so she is now happily sitting on her blanket on the sofa chewing away.

Of course, she takes lots of naps.
